The Compass Project
In 2025 we received grant funding from Seeds for Growth to help us develop our mission and outreach programmes. From this The Compass Project evolved. We now have two new members of staff, a full-time mission and outreach worker and and a part-time admin assistant.
Our Purpose
To deliver missions and outreach projects for the church.
To provide new expressions of faith and worship.
To engage with the local community.
To foster a culture of prayer.
To encourage and support young people.
We are looking forward to sharing our journey with you.

A new team a new chapter for Port Glasgow New Parish Church!!
We’re delighted to say that we’re now officially in post with the Compass Project! Liz
and John have been working behind the scenes on the setup and admin since June, and
John officially joined at the end of July—hitting the ground running with a very busy
(and very energetic!) holiday club.
It’s been a joy to get started, and we’re already feeling so encouraged by your support.
Your prayers, generosity, and kind words mean a lot.
We’re always keen to hear your ideas, your feedback, and your thoughts on Compass.
This is a community project, and your voice matters.
