Today was about doing prep work for both the summer the final week of the youth bible study. Phone number for the church office was setup. Monthly Report.
Holiday Club
Small hall was setup with the large banners. Crafts were sorted out for each day, video links were checked.
Summer Youth Bible Group
This weeks theme was 'knock at the door', we reflected on the passage from Revelation 3:20 'Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.'
We discussed 'Who do you expect to be at the door when someone knocks?' 'What things distract you?' & 'Do you take a quiet moment?'
We also looked at the painting 'The Light of the World' by William Holman Hunt and explored at the following elements:
Church Office Phone Number
We looked into the feasibility of have a phone number for the church office using Microsoft Teams. This has resulting in us obtaining a single license that can be assigned to any account. This means we can make and receive calls via Microsoft Teams. Other features of this license include voicemail with email notifications including of a call with the recording of any messages. Calls can also be forwarded to another number if required.
Plan here would be to published the number on the church website and other outlets. This number will work independently of the existing church manse phone number.
